The design question

How might floating structures help a working port adapt to energy transition and changing spatial demands over the short, medium and long term?

My contribution

Representing KuiperCompagnons in the multidisciplinary Floating Future research consortium, I contribute to research on energy transition and working environments. With the team I help develop a wider spatial narrative and explore applications of floating infrastructure in the port across different time horizons.

The value

The work brings together design practice, researchers, doctoral research and other consortium partners to examine how floating structures could support a more adaptable port and urban region.
