The design question
How can new housing and a health centre contribute to a greener, coherent and welcoming city centre?
My contribution
At KuiperCompagnons, I worked on the urban design plan and design-quality plans for Stadshart Zuidwest. The spatial vision brings planned development together with public-space improvements around the Middenweg, Middenwaard and Huygens College.
The value
The plan connects new housing and health services with greener streets, public spaces and pedestrian routes. Design-quality principles guide the relationship between new buildings and their surroundings.
