The design question
How can a fragmented infrastructure and business landscape become a coherent urban district around Duivendrecht station?
My contribution
At West 8, I worked closely with Adriaan Geuze and the design team on the urban framework. My work included modelling, density and volume studies, public space, the station setting, visualisation and the project book.
The value
A landscape-led structure connected new urban development with movement, public space and the technical constraints of the site.
