The design question
How can an industrial area be reconsidered to make space for denser housing, generous public space and nature?
My contribution
As part of Team Biopolis, I helped develop and present the spatial proposal through a large physical model. The model was used to test relationships between the built fabric, waterfront, public spaces and green structure.
The value
The proposal made a complex transformation tangible, inviting a conversation about density and the room a city gives back to people and ecology.
